| About the world of Artist Stamps / faux postage. . . |
| Long ago in a kingdom far far away, I found my face on an "artist stamp" from the imaginary land of Bingolia. Hmmm . . That was just WAY too interesting to ignore. So I didn't. In short order I became part of a group of artists who design faux postage and use it in all sort of applications. In our imaginary realms new issues are designed to commemorate actual events plus those which occur only in the flights of fancy of our imaginations. |

| Support Alex's Lemonade Foundation Sheet 1 Sheet 2 |
| When Alex Scott was four she asked her mom if she could have a lemonade stand to raise money for "her hospital" where she had been treated for three years for neuroblastoma, an aggressice childhood cancer. Her mother said it would be hard to raise money fifty cents at a time but in July 2000 Alex raised over $2000 from her lemonade stand. In 2004 she raised $40,000 in THREE hours! And with the help of people holding fudraisers of all sorts, more than $1.5 million was raised last year for the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Ephemeria's tribute to Alex stamps were issued June 11, 2005, eleven months after Alex lost her battle with cancer. When you use the stamps on envelopes and in art projects you help draw attention to the Lemonade foundation. Ephemeria's profits from stamp sales will be donated to this good cause in memory of Alex. |
